I think the 200+ people before me have made the point already- this is just an awesome game. It's so great that this was brought over to PS3. GOW I/II should really be played before GOW III just because all 3 games are great. If you're new to PS3, what better way to start off your collection with 2 games for $30 total? It doesn't get much better than that, especially when they're of this caliber. These games will keep you entertained for hours, as long as you enjoy killing and don't get infuriated by puzzle solving... some of them are pretty tricky.

If I would have known what these games were like, I would have had them the second they were out. But I am glad I waited till they came out on the PS3 format as the graphics are unbelievable! Well worth every penny!

I am hardcore PC Gamer: recently I bought a PS3 from best buy for not playing games, but for as a blu ray player+ web browser for my 46inch TV. I heard lot about the hype on GOW collection, and bought it from sellers on amazon. This is my first PS3 game: I should say, what a game to start with, recently I am not playing any games on my PC, instead i got hooked up with GOW on PS3. I never realized that PS3 games can be so awesome. Every penny is worth buying this game.
2 great Ps2 classics on one Ps3 disc July 14, 2010

Fans of the God of War franchise will be happy to find that both God of War 1&2 are now both on one single disc for the Playstation 3. Both God of War and God of War 2 were a couple of the most succesful games on the Playstation 2, taking place during the times of Greek Mythology. A man named Kratos is on a revenge quest to destroy the gods who have betrayed him. Weilding the dual blades chained to his arms, Kratos faces down hoardes of Mythological beasts such as the minotaur, the gorgons, Chimeras, and many others. These are very gory however, and should never be played by young children, teens and adults only. This game is a definite buy for any fan of God of War, or any Ps3 owner interested in the games.
